Toronto area real estate market figures this October (Year to Date – YTD) and the past several years (Year over Year – YOY). Below are 5 charts showing Toronto Regional Homes Sales, For Sale / Listings Available and Average Sale Price. You can see the peak in Sales back in March and the decline of listings available over the summer and fall. Even though we are still in a pandemic, prices keep going up.
Charts 3 and 4 show why prices are up significantly because the homes available for sale have significantly decreased.
The charts go back to 2007 showing the growth in sales and prices over the years. There is also a report for October 2021 (year over year).
