George P. Mackie Jr. P. S. is a dynamic neighbourhood school that was originally built in 1954 and named after

George P. Mackie, Trustee, for the former Scarborough Board of Education (1927-1952). The school is nestled in a residential neighbourhood southeast of Markham and Kingston Roads, just north of the magnificent Scarborough Bluffs. We serve 140  students from kindergarten to grade 6 in a well-established community with a rich history. We are committed to providing a healthy, thriving learning environment fostering high academic achievement, physical, social and emotional well-being and citizenship.
